Light the Dragonfires!

Hey guy(s), today I'm going to be talking about a pretty old game who's getting a sequel soon called... Oblivion the Elder Scrolls IV!

Oblivion is a game where you play as a prisoner who gets freed from prison on account of your cell being the best way to escape from the city. Because your cell is such a good escape route, the emperor (did I mention this was a medieval fantasy game?) needs to escape the city through it because it isn't safe. He and his royal guards go through the sewers until halfway through the emperor starts talking about destiny and how it united you and him, he then proceeds to give you his amulet, saying he doubts he'll escape alive. He was right. Now you leave the guards and escape to deliver the amulet to a guy that the emperor was talking about. The guy, who is a monk with a strange name tells you to find the heir to the emperor so he can become the new king, and you end up in some kind of huge adventure to defeat the evil that killed the emperor. Well, that's as far as I'll go because I don't want to ruin the story. 

Overall it was a great game, and it had tons of replay value as well as having hundreds of side-quests, making it take tons and tons of hours to see the 100% complete mark in your journal. It featured many different choices which would affect how others would treat you, for example committing lots of crimes will make everybody but criminals dislike you, while doing hero-like tasks will make others like you, with the one exception being thug.

This game was in stores since the Xbox 360 went in stores, yet it's still being played by many, and it deserves to be played by many. It's a really fun game, I would suggest trying a demo, or borrowing the game from somebody else to see if it your kind of game. Who know, you may even have found a new favorite game. QWOP!

Hello, and welcome! Today I'll be talking about the game Qwop, a flash game which you use the Q, W, O and P keys to move the calves and thighs of a runner. The goal is to run 100 meters without any time limit, but you'll find out it isn't as easy as it sounds.

This game challenges your patience, as you try to get to the 100 meter mark. It's really time consuming and addictive, but it ends up being really frustrating. My record is 98.2 meters, after playing for several hours, when I ended up crawling. The game gets really difficult around 50 meters through, because you have to pass one hurdle. All it really takes is one hurdle to make you have to restart. Overall this game is very funny and it's fun to try and beat your friends. And just so you know, it's almost impossible to run the 100 meters, your best bet is crawling. That's it for today, see you later!

Xbox 360 Indie Games

First of all, I would like to say that I accidentally forgot to post yesterday, and I'll probably be posting twice tomorrow to make up for it. Today's post is going to be about Indie games, games made by the Xbox 360 community rated by the community for the community. I'll be talking about what exactly they are, and whether they're worth buying. Well, here goes!

Indie games are games that are made by the community as I said in the first paragraph, they are similar to minigames because they don't come with a variety of modes or proper online gameplay. These games aren't expensive, but most of the time the games will end up being played once or twice, but then they'll end up rotting with all the demos. Indie games are, as I said  rated by the community, but the ratings are often useless because they're on a scale from one to three which honestly isn't very detailed. There are some Indie games worth buying, and those are mostly on the top rated or top downloaded lists. In my opinion you should only buy an Indie game if:

•  You aren't saving Microsoft points to buy anything.
• You have read the description and ratings of the game (you should also play the demo for it and look at the picture gallery).
• You really don't have anything better to do at the moment.

To sum it all up: Buy Indie games only if you're going to actually play them, with an example of one I play often being I MA3D A GAME W1TH Z0MB1ES!!! (Best. Spelling. Ever!). And, yeah, that's all for today, see ya tomorrow (hopefully)!
