Another Day, Another Post!

First of all I want you, the reader to know that this post will feature a massively popular game: Call of Duty: Black Ops, and some of the choices you make to enhance your gameplay. By that I mean the killstreaks, and more specifically the killstreaks that require 8 kills or more.

There are many killstreaks in Black Ops, but it's the higher ones that will advance your gameplay and net you more points than usual. The killstreaks that I am talking about are:

• The Blackbird
• Rolling Thunder
• Chopper Gunner
• Dogs (Or as I like to call them, puppies!!!)
• The Gunship

Each of those killstreaks has it's advantages and disadvantages, and I'm going to hopefully help you in your decision.

First of all, I'd like to explain what the Rolling Thunder (8 kills to activate) does. The Rolling Thunder is an air strike that drops bombs in a straight line across the battlefield. It is useful because it can't be shot down, but because of the friendly fire (you can hurt teammates) on Hardcore gametypes, you can easily kill as many teammates as enemies. It is also useful because of its massive damage, which can even kill entire teams on small maps such as Nuketown!

Now I'd like to talk to you about the Blackbird which needs 8 kills to be activated. The Blackbird is essentially a spy plane that can't be shot down, but it does something that pretty much prevents you from getting killed other than by snipers: It shows you the direction that your enemy is facing. But wait, it also does more! The Blackbird not only does those two things, but people with the perk Ghost, or even Ghost pro can be seen by it! While it doesn't get you kills, it lets you easily continue your killstreak to get something better, like a Gunship. I would definitely recommend this killstreak over Rolling Thunder.

Now onto Chopper Gunner, the only 9 killstreak in Black Ops! This killstreak lets you be the gunner of a UH-1 Huey chopper. Your pilot flies circles around the map while you shoot the enemies, who appear as little red squares (,excluding users of Ghost pro). It can be shot down by the enemies, but it has one set of flares to deter rockets that are locked onto it. I would definitely recommend this perk over all the others, maybe even Dogs and the Gunship because it takes less kills and is almost as powerful.

And now I'll explain to you why the Gunship is a great killstreak, resting above the rest with Dogs at 11 kills! The Gunship is similar to the Chopper Gunner because you shoot enemies from a Hind Helicopter, but this killstreak lets you also use rockets! You can have two rockets at a time, and they reload after a while. Did I also mention that you don't just shoot enemies from the Hind, but you also pilot it? The Hind also has two sets of flares, instead of the one that the Chopper Gunner has. The ability to pilot this killstreak is really helpful because you can dodge rockets that aren't locked on, and if you're REALLY lucky maybe a rocket that is locked on! The Gunship, in my opinion is just as good as Dogs.

Finally, I'm going to talk about the other killstreak that takes 11 kills to call in: Dogs! Dogs, or Attack Dogs as called by some people calls in... Do I really need to explain what it calls in? The dogs that are called in by the killstreak search for your enemies and kills them. They can't find people with Ghost pro and they are attracted to Decoy Grenades, but other than that they're awesome. They don't force you to stand still, so you can get kills while your dogs help you, and you can even use the Chopper Gunner killstreak while you use the dogs! That means that you kill whatever enemies are outside, while the dogs kill the ones that are inside... Aren't dogs great?
