Minor Changes
Hey guy(s), today is a boring day... Couldn't really think of an idea. But I do have to say something: I haven't been able to post daily, with the main problem being a lack of ideas. I'm only going to be posting 5 or 6 times a week from Sunday onward, which means generally less posting. From Sunday onward, the posts will generally be longer to make up for the posts per week being fewer. That's all for today!

Light the Dragonfires!
Hey guy(s), today I'm going to be talking about a pretty old game who's getting a sequel soon called... Oblivion the Elder Scrolls IV!
Oblivion is a game where you play as a prisoner who gets freed from prison on account of your cell being the best way to escape from the city. Because your cell is such a good escape route, the emperor (did I mention this was a medieval fantasy game?) needs to escape the city through it because it isn't safe. He and his royal guards go through the sewers until halfway through the emperor starts talking about destiny and how it united you and him, he then proceeds to give you his amulet, saying he doubts he'll escape alive. He was right. Now you leave the guards and escape to deliver the amulet to a guy that the emperor was talking about. The guy, who is a monk with a strange name tells you to find the heir to the emperor so he can become the new king, and you end up in some kind of huge adventure to defeat the evil that killed the emperor. Well, that's as far as I'll go because I don't want to ruin the story.
Overall it was a great game, and it had tons of replay value as well as having hundreds of side-quests, making it take tons and tons of hours to see the 100% complete mark in your journal. It featured many different choices which would affect how others would treat you, for example committing lots of crimes will make everybody but criminals dislike you, while doing hero-like tasks will make others like you, with the one exception being thug.
This game was in stores since the Xbox 360 went in stores, yet it's still being played by many, and it deserves to be played by many. It's a really fun game, I would suggest trying a demo, or borrowing the game from somebody else to see if it your kind of game. Who know, you may even have found a new favorite game. That's all for today, see ya tomorrow (hopefully)!

QWOP!
Hello, and welcome! Today I'll be talking about the game Qwop, a flash game which you use the Q, W, O and P keys to move the calves and thighs of a runner. The goal is to run 100 meters without any time limit, but you'll find out it isn't as easy as it sounds.
This game challenges your patience, as you try to get to the 100 meter mark. It's really time consuming and addictive, but it ends up being really frustrating. My record is 98.2 meters, after playing for several hours, when I ended up crawling. The game gets really difficult around 50 meters through, because you have to pass one hurdle. All it really takes is one hurdle to make you have to restart. Overall this game is very funny and it's fun to try and beat your friends. And just so you know, it's almost impossible to run the 100 meters, your best bet is crawling. That's it for today, see you later!

Abracadavre
Today I'm going to be talking about Black Ops, again. This post will be about something different... The First Strike map pack! I will post my opinions and stuff on the map pack, as well as whether it's worth buying or not... Here goes!
The First Strike map pack is a map pack for the game Call of Duty: Black Ops. It features four multiplayer maps as well as one zombie map: Ascension. The multiplayer maps are: Discovery, Berlin Wall, Stadium and Kowloon. These new maps feature interactive parts, and here I'm going to give a summary of each map.
Overall, the First Strike map pack is fun, and if you play zombies a ton, Ascension will be a great addition, though the multiplayer maps need some improvement. That's it for now, see you guys later!

The multiplayer maps are: Discovery, Berlin Wall, Stadium and Kowloon. These new maps feature interactive parts, and here I'm going to give a summary of each map.
- Discovery is a large snowy map with a ton of vertical gameplay, because the buildings have multiple floors. This map features ice bridges that break under too much damage. Once destroyed, it isn't impossible to get to the other side, but it makes getting there a whole lot more irritating (you have to jump). Weapons I prefer to use on this map are submachine guns if you're going to stay close to the buildings, sniper rifles if you're going to stay inside and assault rifles in general. I wouldn't recommend light machine guns because you may need to run to cover quickly because of the huge lines of sight.
- Berlin Wall is another large map, which is set in Berlin in winter. It features no mans land, which is indicated in red on your radar. If you enter no mans land, auto turrets will start shooting at you, which doesn't normally end well unless you have a Willy Pete or Marathon pro and Lightweight. The no mans land is what separates the two sides of the map, with some safe paths through no mans land. There isn't really a type of gun that has an advantage, though shotguns as usual have a disadvantage. This is by far my favorite map.
- Stadium is part of the inside + the outside of a hockey stadium. Go figure. It doesn't really feature anything interactive, but for some reason everybody picks this map. Submachine guns, assault rifles and light machine guns have the advantage on this map, while sniper rifles and shotguns are just a tiny bit behind.
- Kowloon is, well a part of Hong-Kong... It's a large map, but It doesn't look large because of all the buildings blocking your view. This map features ziplines, the fastest way to cross this map. When going to use the zipline, look both ways before using it because you're vulnerable during your descent. This map is cool, but there are many campers here, the recommended weapon here would be a fully automatic assault rifle.
Overall, the First Strike map pack is fun, and if you play zombies a ton, Ascension will be a great addition, though the multiplayer maps need some improvement. That's it for now, see you guys later!

Xbox 360 Indie Games
First of all, I would like to say that I accidentally forgot to post yesterday, and I'll probably be posting twice tomorrow to make up for it. Today's post is going to be about Indie games, games made by the Xbox 360 community rated by the community for the community. I'll be talking about what exactly they are, and whether they're worth buying. Well, here goes!
Indie games are games that are made by the community as I said in the first paragraph, they are similar to minigames because they don't come with a variety of modes or proper online gameplay. These games aren't expensive, but most of the time the games will end up being played once or twice, but then they'll end up rotting with all the demos. Indie games are, as I said rated by the community, but the ratings are often useless because they're on a scale from one to three which honestly isn't very detailed. There are some Indie games worth buying, and those are mostly on the top rated or top downloaded lists. In my opinion you should only buy an Indie game if:

- You aren't saving Microsoft points to buy anything.
- You have read the description and ratings of the game (you should also play the demo for it and look at the picture gallery).
- You really don't have anything better to do at the moment.

Comparing Guns
Hello and welcome to my blog! Today, we'll be comparing guns, as the title suggests. These are not real guns, they are guns from two different video games, more specifically Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops. Though those two titles may both be from the Call of Duty series, they were made by rival companies Infinity Ward and Treyarch respectively. These two companies have both had great success with games they've made, and now I'm going to compare some guns from the two games. The guns that I will be comparing are none other than the Famas with the Famas, the M16A4 with the M16A1 and the AK47 with, you guessed it, the AK47!!! I'm going to be comparing these guns and deciding which is better starting with...
The Famas
The Famas is a great gun in both games, even though the companies had different views of the gun they both ended well. In Modern Warfare 2, the Famas was a gun that fired in bursts of three rounds, comparable to the M16(A1) of Black Ops. It had a shorter delay between bursts and did less damage, so I guess you could have said that it was the G11 of Modern Warfare 2. In Black Ops, the Famas had greatly changed. It was no longer the burst fire gun that the community had loved, It was even better than that. Treyarch decided to make the Famas a fully automatic gun. This Famas was great because it had what the other lacked, which was close range power. The other great part about Treyarchs Famas was that it still had a VERY high fire rate, comparable to some Submachine Guns. In my opinion, the Famas made by Treyarch looked nicer and was easier to use, plus it fit into my Submachine gun rushing tactics really well.
The M16a4 and a1
First things first, I'm going to say that the M16A1 is essentially the same as the the M16A4, but the M16A4 was just a newer model. The M16A1 from Black Ops is what I'm going to start this comparison with: The M16(A1) is a great gun, that was both beginner friendly, intermediate friendly and expert friendly alike. It kept its three round burst in this game, unlike the Famas. It had an upwards recoil pattern, unlike its Modern Warfare 2 variant, that would tend to give you headshots if you shot the enemies in their stomachs. The M16A4 in Modern Warfare 2 was also a great gun, though it fit the role of a sniper more easily, because of its recoil pattern not being as bad. Even though it wasn't able to get recoil headshots like its variant, it was still an awesome gun. I have to say that I used both of these guns evenly, and I liked them evenly.
The AK47
In both games, this gun was absolutely AWESOME, even though Infinity Ward annoyed everyone by putting this weapon high up at level 70 (In Modern Warfare 2), which is the last level, it was still a blast to use. This gun featured strange swaying when it had anything attached but the ACOG scope, and while this sway wasn't much, it annoyed me greatly. The Black Ops variant however, featured no swaying, but instead it featured tremendous upwards recoil, which was even WORSE than the sway. Honestly, I enjoyed the AK47 in Black Ops more because of it's one hit kill capability in Hardcore mode, where I played most of my matches.
That's it for today, and for the record, the reason this post is in the past tense is because this year Modern Warfare 3 is going to stores!!!

Generation V
Well, I got bored playing the Zombies mode in Black Ops after my squad died on round 23, so I decided I would post tomorrow's article today (since I plan the posts subjects two days ahead) . Without further interruptions I give you tomorrow's subject: POKEMON!!!
The Pokemon games Pokemon Black and White came out in March, and with them came loads of new features like the Entralink, Pokemon Musical (which I hate), the Battle Subway, Black City/White Forest as well as the Dream World and much, much more. The features these games offered were overwhelming at first glance, until I noticed a few things... The Musical almost seems like a last minute addition, the Battle Subway is no different from the Battle Tower, because all it is is repeatedly battling trainers. The Entralink is extremely fun at first, but the fun fades away as you realize there is no point in using it, though I can't be sure since I haven't used the Dream World yet.
Another thing I would enjoy talking about is the storyline, and I have a question to you about it: Did it confuse you as much as it confused me?
The story is strange, the people are weird. Admittedly the game itself is fun, but the story is supposed to put you in the game, without it you feel like you feel like you're controlling some drone or something. All the story was was a strange teenager named "N", who is like the hippie of the Pokemon world... He wants to free Pokemon from trainers, isn't that terrible? Then there's Ghetsis (Ns father) who it turns out was just just using Ns kind spirit to be able to control the legendary dragon Zekrom (in White) or Reshiram (in Black). Ghetsis was going to keep the legendary dragon and enslave humanity because they wouldn't have any Pokemon to fight back.
Overall it was a pretty fun game, even though the story was confusing.
Until next time (which is hopefully tomorrow), I bid you farewell.

Oh, and by the way, the reason this post is shorter than the others is because the post itself was going to be about Pokemon and a comparison between the guns of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops, but I really wanted to save that 'till tomorrow.

Day 3(DS)!
Hello welcome to my third post! This post is going to be about two things, the new 3DS and the differences between it and the other Nintendo DS models, as well as the awesome computer game, Minecraft!
First of all, I would love to talk about the 3DS. It has many things that separate it from a regular DS, a DS lite, a DSi and a DSi XL. Some of the differences may be negligible like the triggers being slightly more durable, but there are also many huge differences, for example:
Overall, it's a great system, though being priced at 280+ Canadian dollars, you're gonna need to dig deep to buy it.
And now, I shall talk about: The one, the only, MINECRAFT!!!
Minecraft is a great game where you start off on an island then build your dream world, with various resources gathered throughout your journey. At first glance the graphics may appear terrible and childish at best, but once you start playing it's almost impossible to stop... It's just too much fun! At first the game may seem harmless enough, but you'll soon learn that under your very feet lays your demise... In other words, there are dungeons underground with monsters and lava. That seems like a decent introduction, doesn't it? Well, onto the actual subject!
I would like to explain why you should buy Minecraft, because for now its only 3/4 of the full price!

- The 3DS has an analog stick, and even though Sony used that idea first on the PSP, the DS seriously needed one because of the lack of precision in the D-Pad. This analog stick is also very smooth to use compared to the PSP analog stick.
- The 3DS has a built-in game called AR Games, which stands for "A"ugmented "R"eality. This game uses cards to play, for example you place a card on a table, and look at it through the 3DS camera. It projects a holgraphic image only viewable through the Nintendo 3DS system. This game also comes with some minigames like fishing and archery.
- The 3D feature, which admittedly is USELESS. It's fun for the first five minutes, but then it starts to hurt your eyes. It's also impossible to see properly if you're looking at the 3DS screen from anywhere except the direct front.
Overall, it's a great system, though being priced at 280+ Canadian dollars, you're gonna need to dig deep to buy it.

- It's pretty much a sandbox games, but it also is partially a survival game. This means that you have to fend off various enemies and build shelter, but it also means that you are capable of creating anything you can imagine.
- It has received great reviews from reviewers and the community alike.
- It has many mods to add to the greatness that is this game, like flying mods, gun mods, and mods that make it more of a simulator.
- It is a fun and creative way to pass time.
